报道称，在这段音乐视频中，非洲裔饶舌歌手YG开头唱到，首先，你找到一个华人社区的房子，因为他们不相信银行帐户”，歌词还详细描述如何到华人居住地进行偷窃的具体过程，甚至建议不要去拿大屏幕液晶电视和手提电脑，偷珠宝盒更为划算，拿到当铺当天就可变现”。
报道还说，美国华人全国委员会(简称华委会)鼓励华人，到谷歌视频网站YouTube抗议举报这段音乐视频，华委会主席苏汲称该视频涉嫌怂恿鼓动针对华人社区的抢劫等犯罪活动。
FBI费城办公室专员爱丽克丝克里格表示，这个音乐视频歌曲不但低俗也令人担心，FBI已经安排专人调查此案，但是无权从谷歌网站撤下该视频。她建议华人社区动员尽可能多的人上YouTube网站举报。
遇见劫匪”音乐视频在谷歌音乐网站下载价格为1.99美元。目前YouTube上的收看人次有15.4万多，有740多人点赞，目前给差评的有255个。
